Despite being a particularly rural area, two major festivals occur annually in the South West of France. The Circa festival is generously covered in the 'Circus' part of the site, with this part concerning itself principally with Welcome in Tziganie.
More than ten years experience photographing circus work - the albums on this site are principally aimed at the individual circus companies, but are free to be viewed by all. Also included are the yearly selections from the CiRCa festival in October each year.
The concert hall the "Cri'Art" in Auch, South West France has provided the opportunity to follow a number of excellent local groups, in addition to international artists keen to relive the atmosphere of a small local venue. The venue is small (380) but well equiped and hosts 3 or four concerts per month.
This selection covers more than forty albums of images made here in France. There is so much material to make interesting images, who really needs to go abroad...
Have camera - will travel. A selection of images dating from 2008 to present day discovering Europe and Asia. An essentially personal view.

Back to basics - principally with a medium format camera, rediscovering the forgotten pleasures of shooting and developing black & white films. The original film negatives have been electonically scanned and further treatment is entirely digital.
Amongst other long term projects, a certain number of circus artists have returned here, on a regular basis, and this selection shows different aspects of their craft. This is also the place to find personal projects, and events and parades that I've covered.
Over the past decade, there have been nearly sixty expos produced, some regular, like for CiRCa, and others one-offs to promote a companie or an event.
